Got Ntune to work with 158.18!
I guess many people tried installing and borking their 158.18 installation but I decided to try something different. I always installed the driver THEN installed ntune.
I asked myself, what if I uninstalled all nvidia drivers, (using 158.18) then cancelled the driver install THEN installed ntune on a system with only the vga drivers? Would it work?
Yup!
So the procedure is unistall your current drivers using the 158.18 install program until it is ready to install the drivers. Cancel.
Install ntune.
Copy nvcplui.exe from windows\system32 to windows\syswow64
Install 158.18 drivers.
Lo and behold, the control panel opens up nice a quick, and all options are there!
Only problem, the usual bugs in ntune are still there. Can't adjust the clock, nor the fan.
Oh well for what it's worth, there it is.
