Hello!

My old GeForce 5600FX 256MB card just fried after I got many useful years out of it. I'm in the market for a temporary replacement (I'll be building a new computer this Fall/Winter with the 8800GTX :D). I play games like CS:S, HL2, etc. I'd like to go a BIT cheap, but I'll spend a bit more if it's worth it. Here are the choices I have:

(Note: I'm only listing the differences in common features and info I have available so we're comparing apples and apples)

Zogis ZO68XT-DAGP GeForce 6800XT 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP4x/8x
$76.99
Max Res: 2560 x 1600
CineFX 3.0 Engine
Intellisample 3.0
HDTV / S-Video / Composite Out
Dual-Link DVI Supported

BIOSTAR V6802XA21 GeForce 6800XT 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X
$99.99
Max Res: 2048 x 1536 @ 60Hz
CineFX 4.0 Engine
Intellisample 4.0
HDTV / S-Video Out
NOT Dual-Link DVI Supported

Is there a huge difference between CineFX 3.0 and CineFX 4.0? Also, I know the BioStar has a Core Clock of 325 MHz and Memory Clock of 700 MHz. Does anyone know this info for the Zogis?

I guess it all boils down to this: Is it worth the extra $23 to get the BioStar?

Other info
Mobo: ASUS P4P800
CPU: P4 2.4GHz
RAM: 1GB Corsair

Thanks guys!

The technical specs of those cards should be almost identical. Any variation in the specs is probably just a typo. A 6800XT is a 6800XT is a 6800XT. They all use the same chip and the same drivers.

The only things that could be any different are things like the number DVI\VGA connectors, TV out connectors and clock speeds.

Personally, I've never heard of Zogis. It doesn't even look familiar to me. Biostar isn't a top brand but they have been around a while. If you can spare the extra money, the Biostar is probably better quality, though there isn't any guarantee...
