Hi, id like to make this thread for people who have the cash to buy a Gf FX but are to lazy to look of where to find em heh.

The Mainsite that has been selling them is NewEgg. But there sight has the worst search feature ever ; D

NewEgg is selling the PNY Refrence design.

yeah, wouldn't want people to have to look for info about FX's - might accidentally stumble across a review!

Thanks for the tip, I was looking in pricewatch with no results.

Now I'll just have to mug a few "customers" to get the cash hehehe.

The beauty of Cinema Gaming (IE. The GeForce-FX) is the fact that they cannot be bought!

It's so incredibly advanced that it simply cannot be manufactured :)

I shouldn't say this... It's just too confidential... But anyway...

nVidia never truly bought 3DFX. They bought BitBoys. And ArtX was bought by Trident, not by ATI. ATI actually bought 3DFX's Rampage team.
3DFX's Napalm & Daytona teams have been hired by S3/VIA.

Why did this thread have to degenerate into crap like all the others? I'm sick of it now.

UK availability:

Dabs (http://www.dabs.com/) has PNY's Ultra, looks like a new batch will be in early next week. They list Terratec's too but now their status is "temporarily unavailable".

Komplett (http://www.komplett.co.uk/) has Terratec's Ultra in stock and Asus, MSI and Gainward having "unconfirmed" stock dates in April.

But the prices are all pretty high so I wouldn't bother actually buying one.

There's no reason to crap on someones buying decision. The guys obviously been on these boards a while. I don't see why the mods tolerate this kinda stuff.

I think it's time to lighten up...just my opinion, of course.

But that's not the point. This is another example of someone asking an honest question and getting crapped on because of it.

Here's a bookmarked link I use to check Newegg stock. GeForce + FX + Ultra search result currently includes 2 PNY models and 1 eVGA model.

If anyone lives near a PC Club, they might be able to order one for you. So far, the Upland, Cali. store (where I work), has received 2 EVGA, 2 MSI, and 2 GAINWARD. As of yesterday, the 2 Gainwards were still in stock. The EVGA's and MSI's Sold same day as delivery (I bought one of the EVGA's, they were the first ones we got). Last time I checked (Saturday), the wharehouse was out of the EVGA and MSI, but still had a few Gainwards. They are NOT listed on our website yet, so don't bother with that route. Good Luck!

Newegg is cracking me up with this.... they get 4 cards, sell'm in 5 minutes ( demand is STILL there regardless of reviews and such), 4-5 days later they get 4 more cards, and restart the cycle.:p
