Hi,

Im not sure if this is a driver issue related to the 8800s in vista or if this is something else.

Whenever I play a WMV video that I downloaded, I dont get any picture (just a green screen) but the audio plays. I can't see this being a codec issue since its WMV and I am using Media Player 11. Is there some sort of setting in the forceware CP that is causing this? I am using the 165.01 drivers with Vista 64bit (enabled and disabled SLi and still the same symptoms).

Thanks

If other videos play fine it's probably a bad file. Try playing it in VLC player (www.videolan.org) or MPC (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84358&release_id=403110) and see if they have any better luck with it.

Go to Tools>Options>Performance and untick "turn on Directx Video Acceleration for WMV files"

I had the same problem, this fixed it for me.
