Anyone know if the R9600Pro will have a fan or just a passive heatsink?

It will have a very small fan but I've seen a sapphire with a passive heatsink(not zalman).Don't know if it was the non pro.

No. Board vendors will be free to do a passive versions of 9600 as the core can cope with it - most likely occur on the non-PRO 9600's.

Oddly, I have heard that Sapphire may even do a higher end version with a Zalman as well!
