I am going to build a new puter next month and I would like some input on the new motherboards out there. I am going with AMD so please don't talk about any Intel chipsets. What I want to know is which high end mobo you all like or know of that has good performance and few bugs. I, like most am partial to Asus and most likely will get their board but fire away with your picks.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I'll go with Asus. Thanks for you input. :D

LOL! I love how a dead thread can always come back as a spam thread but be much better than the original thread.

I'm using the Asus Crosshair motherboard. IMO, this is the best motherboard for the AMD AM2 platform.

DFI makes the best motherboards. period.

if you can find one that fits your platform go for it. otherwise, id say listen to DD. ;)

I would go with the Evga 590 SLI board ,it has a good warranty and great fourm support.

I've always been partial to DFI. Asus seems to be a "either loveit all the way" or "Hate it all the way" proposition. None of my DFI's (Up to 4 now) have ever given me any grief.

never had DFI, but always wanted one, to bad they make less and less boards these days.

The cfx-3200 was my first DFI board. (socket 939) .

Some very cool features in the bios, a good board.,

The RD600 board's bios is even more sick. Maybe even too much of a hassle ...
But, main thing is, that RD600 performance is pretty bad compared to other chipsets, if it weren't for that i'd order it right now, just to get rid of this f*cking FSB wall on the p5w deluxe :thumbdwn:
