So last night I decided it would be fun to hook up my rebuilt gaming tower to TV while I was setting it up. Once I got the drivers for my 8800 installed it allowed me to change the resolution to 1080, but I am missing the edges of my screen now.
I can't seem to find a setting that will let me get my screen to fit, and TV doesn't have anything that I can find to change to fix the problem on that end. On the driver end I really can't do anything to fix the problem either. I know the TV is over scanning, but becuase I am using VGA, I can't seem to find a way to compensate.
Its only a temporary set up while I get my tower configured, but it would be nice to know what can be done. I might try and switching it to use component and see how that goes.
