Are there any alpha or beta quality drivers for the GeForce 4 line of video cards that work with the development linux kernels? I'd like to test the dev kernels and provide feedback to the kernel dev community but was hoping I wouldn't have to sacrifice 3D performance.

There are patches for some 2.5 kernels at http://minion.de, but I don't know if they have a 2.5.65 patch up, I haven't been there in a while.

Otherwise, if you can use XFree86 4.3, their "nv" driver now works with GF4 (and GF FX) hardware, but it's still 2D only, so you can't do 3D like you want to. :(

I hope it won't be long after 2.6/3.0 (whatever they end up calling it) is released before nVidia gets a driver out that works with it...
