Ok, something werid as happened! ...... just checked the Intel Thermal Analysis Tool and i noticed my cpu is running at full speed of 3000MHz .... u usually have cpu throttle enabled so the cpu ususally runs at 2000MHz while idle! ..... i went into the controll pannel to check in the power management tab to make sure it was still set to Minimal Power Management and i cannot see the power management tab in the controll pannel! .... i right clicked on the desktop went to screensaver and then the power tab, i can get to the power options but under the power schemes drop bar only two options come up and they are home/office desk & portable/laptop! .... anybody to aby ideas what could have happened to my minimal power management tab?
