This is going to be good. The best defensive team in the league vs. the best offensive team in the league.

Whether they win or lose will depend on the play of Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan(imo) has been the MVP of the Playoff series thus far. He might not be as "flashy" as other MVP candidates, but he damn well gets the job done.

Overall, the Suns are the "better team", but I have a feeling the Spurs defense might be too much for the Suns to handle. As I said before, Tim Duncan will be the deciding factor on who will win the series. If he plays good(which he normally does) the Suns wont have a chance.

Nash and Parker headbutt each other.

He and Parker had a head-on train wreck. It was pretty brutal. Nash was a trooper and tried to play on but he was bleeding all over the place.

The refs have been letting them play in the second round but I have a feeling the league is going to tell them to tighten up. It's just getting too physical. There's some serious abuse going on.

Yea it is. As much as I like Carmelo Anthony his behavior in play against the Spurs was totally uncalled for. He was shoving people and knocking them over left and right. :thumbdwn:

But while everyone is physical, i also believe the refs are calling TOO many fouls. Every single game there are an extreme amount of fouls called that didn't need to be, both offensive and defensive.

Parker knocked the ball away and was chasing it down and they tried to get to know each other real well.

Damn foreigners. This is what happens when a Frenchman and a Canadian try to greet each other on a basketball court. American players would have been fine with a chest-bump.

All joking aside though, it was a pretty brutal collision but it's just one of those things.

It's been such a hack fest though, especially anywhere near the basket. Ming couldn't raise the ball over his head without getting assaulted. (And as a Magic fan I'm not saying that out of support for Houston by any means.) There are a lot of fouls being called but many more let go, which sends a message that the players can get even more physical.

At first I wanted the Spurs to win because I am a fan of Tim Duncan, now I hope the Spurs rot in hell. The entire team is playing absolutely dirty(save for Tim Duncan). Half the team deserves to be ejected for the rest of the playoffs for how they have played the Suns. Completely unacceptable behavior. :thumbdwn:

I still want the Spurs to win. Tim Duncan is probably my favorite player with Ginobili a close second. It has gotten rough but it doesn't seem out of line of any of the rougher series of past years. The Suns are just a finesse type team so any kind of physical play looks much worse. Just look at the elbow by Davis on Fisher (different series, I know). Fisher hits the floor but if it had happened to Nash, Nash would have gone flying 20 feet before hitting the floor. I like Nash as well but when you're smaller and you play at that kind of speed, every little bump is going to send you flying. Anyway, I think people are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Are you kidding me? Nash got bulldozed by a man 100lbs bigger than he is. That was NOT a normal easy going foul. Horry layed Nash out. This is coming from a guy who doesn't even like Nash.

The thing that blows my mind is how Stoudemire gets ejected from the game for stepping ONE FOOT onto the court. After he put ONE FOOT on the court, he realized what he did and immediately went back to his chair. Meanwhile, people like Bruce Bowen can knee a person in the nuts AND ADMIT HE MEANT TO DO IT and get off unpunished(oh, I'm sorry. he got a "flangrant foul". Big deal) Then on top of that, Bruce Bowen soccer kicked Stoudemire(which again, Bowen admited to meaning to do it) and recieved NO punishment.

On top of ALL that, the refs are calling charges nearly every single time a person goes in for a layup. Hell last night Ilgaskis took a JUMPER and recieved charge :wtf: . These refs are calling these baby bumps to be fouls, but yet letting certain NBA players beat the hell out of each other with no consequences.

Out of all the teams, I wanted Suns to not progress in the series. But I think my hate for the Spurs is outdoing that want. I like Tim Duncan and all, but his team is acting like pure trash. I'm just sorry Tim Duncan(a class act player) is somehow with all of them.

I am pissed the Suns lost last night. they should have had it despite being down 2 of their best players. must have been too tired in the last few minutes.

Amare Stoudemire is essential to the Suns lineup. IMO, he is more important the team than Steve Nash. Losing him means BIG problems.

He's important.

Nash is important.

Marion is important.

Without any one of those guys, the Suns will have issues BUT because the team is currently build around Nash, losing him hurts probably the most.

Against the Spurs, losing an interior presence like Amare definitely hurts.

Fwiw as well, Bowen is a ****ing THUG and needs to be suspended indefinitely till he cleans up his game. And this series has some of the worst officiating on both sides.

I would prefer for the Spurs to win coz they are a texas team but, the Suns have played better than I expected.

I disagree extremely. The entire team of the Suns are ALL good passers. When Nash is gone, they just lose an assist here and there, but for the most part other teammates will pick up the slack.

The ONLY thing Nash is leading his team in these playoffs is assists.

Who is the Sun's leading scorer? Amare Stoudemire

Who is the Sun's leading rebounder? Amare Stoudemire

Who is the Sun's leading blocker? Amare Stoudemire

Who is the Sun's leading stealer? Amare Stoudemire

I do agree that Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire are all important, but Nash is WAY overrated imo.

Yea, I agree Bowen deserves to be suspended.

Personally, I hope the Sun's win it all(even though it is unlikely). Just imagine, Spurs vs. Pistons in the NBA Finals.... Talk about a snore-fest...

I agree that Nash is probably one of the more over-rated players in the league, however he is more important to the Suns than perhaps he is given credit for. I defend Amare and Marion when they are marginalized but Nash is pretty important too and considering the way the Suns play, his contributions can't but swept aside :)

yea true....

Duncan is better than them all though. ;) Duncan is the REAL MVP of the league, even though I can't stand the Spurs.
