On The Evga 680i SLI and the HPET Function

On the Evga 680i SLI should the HPET function be disable ,I have heard things at evga site saying it was'nt working right and could cause Blue screens and random reboots .and a new Bios update should be out soon to fix this,has any one else heard anything about this.

I've never disabled it and it's a pretty rare thing for me to get a BSOD or Crash. Never in XP and only a couple of times since Vista came out.
