Hi everyone. I'm having a bit of trouble with TES Oblivion. The problem is that when I go into the game, the screen is white. Now, I've tried Oldoblivion, and that didn't work because I don't think I know precisely how to do it.

I've also tried downloading a patch which would update, but that didn't seem to work either.

Can anyone solve this problem?

Hmmm judging by your very low system specs , i wont be surprised if the game dosent run.
if anything try downloading latest video drivers from ATi site. i would not think that would be of much help though. you need better specs to run the game properly.

Are you sure it's the system spec themselves; On other site I heard this problem is mainly due to the Video cards. I'll try what you said though.

Even if you did fix it and were able to play the game wouldnt be enjoyable with the ammount of lag you would get. And you would have to turn the detail down so low it would look like a laggy ps2 game. but hey maybe it might run alright. GL for that matter. its a very fun game.

^Video card is part of your system spec :)

your specs meet the minimum requirements but im not sure if that card supports DirectX 9.0 which is the problem. i could be wrong, and it might be directx 9 but i dont think it is.

good luck

Well, when I'm in the game, everything runs perfectly, no lag or anything. The only thing is that my screen is white.:)
I feel as if I'm running out of options...
Thank you Nv.

The Radeon 9200 dosent support DX9.0 , only DX8.1 (PS1.4/VS1.1)
