There is a problem with cnc3 and G80 series of cards.

If shaders are on ultra high, the reflections on tiberium etc. screw up the whole object and its textures. On high (one level lower), you can see the detail, but post effects such as red zone light rays disappear.

On my 7900GT this wasn't an issue, but it is with my 8800GTS 320mb.

Which driver are you using? I'm on 158.22. Haven't really noticed myself, but then I've only played the full game on my 8800GTS.

send a vista bug report to nvidia.

I miss 3dfx dearly.

I've experienced this problem while playing CnC myself. Seems kinda random, and doesn't really bother me. But I'll look into it a little more and produce a bug report.

I never noticed but playing through the game again so i'll post back if i come across it but i am using the beta 160 drivers.

Had the same thing happen to me. Vista x64, 8800GTX, 158.18s.

Ah bugger, yeah it does it for me, guess it's yet another issue with the 8800GTX just like the flickering textures in halo.
