View Full Version : BitLocker on RAID-0 (ICH8R)?

As you may know, Windows Vista has BitLocker system drive encryption. However, it does not work with SW RAID (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930063), which is probably what 99.9% RAID configurations are. ICH8R is SW RAID, in a sense it needs OS drivers to fully function, thus it cannot use BitLocker.

Or did anyone succeed turning BitLocker *on* when using ICH8R RAID-0?

No, but you can force BitLocker to use USB flashdisk as key storage.
