Don't wanna know how much they will charge for this, 1200 pts maybe?

It does look cool though.

I saw someone mention this before.
Rant ON: My opinion is if a publisher is intending to release an older classic game why not put in that extra effort to update the graphics and sound a bit. I am sick and tired of all these old pixellated games crowding up the XBLA library. I know some purest will say "But I want the exact same game that I played 10 years ago" and that's fine but having a dev team throw some new paint on these old classics should not affect the gameplay at all. When I fire up Street Fighter 2 or SOTN on my HDTV and see nothing but a bunch of boxes moving around on the screen it kinda affects the way I feel about those games in a negative way.
Rant Off:

If ppl want exact same game, they can go MAME.

Aren't most MAME games considered as abandonware?

I was under the impression that; that was exactly what they were doing with this port.

Did you not watch the video?

It's nothing like the very first, original Prince of Persia.... nothing like it.

True... this particular port of PoP is what I WANT to see land on XBLA but if you take a look at whats available on XBLA now most games are direct ports from the late 80's etc. and when they DO update the graphics a bit it's so minor that I don't know why they even bothered. I'm praying that others developers will take a look at this PoP port and follow suit.

True, but thankfully XBL has the lovely 'play before you buy' thing going.. I haven't bought a retro game yet.
