UFO could have been electrocuted cat

Experts say a reported UFO sighting in Norway was probably an electrocuted cat.

People in Lardal reported seeing a fire ball explode in the night sky and fall slowly down to earth.

But investigators think they've solved the mystery after the charred body of a cat was found at the foot of an electrical mast.

They believe the unlucky cat climbed up the mast and touched a live wire, reports Aftenposten.

Lars Helge Sogn says what people saw was the cat exploding and falling off the mast.

My wife read that one to me off of Drudge earlier and I actually snorted water out my nose laughing.

The visual that hit me was just SO Monty Pythonesque... :lol:

once I had this cat that was dumb and climbed a telephone pole. It was up there for two days before we figured out how we were gonna get it down. So we fashioned this box attached to a long pipe that my dad would hold. In order to get the cat to go into the box I would sit on my roof and shoot at the cat with my pellet gun. I shot the thing 3 times and it still didn't go in. My dad whacked it with the box and finally it got in the box. We were lowering it but then the stupid cat jumped out, grabbed the line and slid half way down until it fell:lol:

It was fine and we had it for a few more years. If we would have known that it could jump down that far and live we would have just let it do its own thing. It was probably just enjoying the desert scenery for a few days and couldn't be bothered:p
