Looks like Buena Vista (Disney) did a good job with these two upcoming titles. Both received 5/5 on video and audio.

Both the video and audio are five-star, reference-quality presentations, while the supplements match everything that was offered on the standard-def versions. Plus, there is even a Blu-ray exclusive trivia feature as a bonus. Disney has delivered a booty of Blu-ray treasure with 'The Curse of the Black Pearl,' so definitely pick up this disc without hesitation.

Nice review. I'll probably pick these up next week and watch them before seeing part 3.

I still haven't seen Dead Man's Chest...I don't recall hearing such negative things about it. Was it really as bad as the reviewer described?

Already preordered them from Amazon... can't friggin wait... and I am going to watch At World's End next Friday.

Personally I enjoyed Dead Man's Chest quite a bit... My ONLY complaint was the ending was a big cliffhanger, but it was clearly a set-up for AWE... but Davy Jones is such an awesome character and the ending was good in a way (not to give anything away).

I would suggest you watch it if you enjoyed the first.

Definitely worth the watch... Davy Jones is played by Bill Nighy... who owns.

Can't wait till next tuesday, I'll be at BestBuy that morning to pick up these in addition to a few others on HD DVD :)

It sucked just like the first one if not even more.

I picked these up at my local BB for $10 off each. Trust me, I think Pirates in HD is the only way to watch it now. Picture and audio are just like the review says... stunning.

My only regret now is that I don't have a larger TV with 1080p!

It was a good week for HD movies - the two Pirate movies on BD and the Matrix trilogy on HD-DVD.
