I just installed 3dmark06, under Vista Ultimate x86

My rig is:

Core 2 Duo e6600 2.4ghz
4 gbs DDR2 G.Skill 800 ram
Foxconn 8800gtx 630/1000
EVGA 680 SLI LT

And other stuff that I dont think is important:

80gb and 250 gb hd
antec 900 case
Dual 19'' CRT's

And guess what my score was...

9807...

Isnt that a little low?
I had all the settings in the program turned down to what they were when i loaded it up, i didnt change a single thing.

Help?

Trying OC'ing your CPU. Your score will be lower in Vista.

How do i go about OC'ing (safely) my CPU?

Could i have some guides? Or something?
I've never done this before

I also have a Zalman 9500 cooler for the e6600, i didnt like the stock cooler.

What drivers are you using? Here's what I got using the 160.03 drivers under vista x64.

Im using the 158.43 beta drivers i believe

also, are the cpu tests supposed to run so laggy and choppy?
i get an average of 1-2 fps on them

With my cpu at 3.4Ghz for the cpu score i get 2968.

But your video (sm2 and sm3) scores will go up a bit also with a faster cpu.
