hi folks

i was struggling to get my rh7.3 going with my geforce 420 mx card and i see a lot of fellow lost souls here had trouble.too.so by dumb luck i found that my windows xp display adapter listed in device manager listed the card as tnt2/tnt2ultra.well ,i decided to try that as i was installing my linux rh7.3. it worked very well .at least now i have 16 bit color and no goofy crashes.i know its a cheap fix but better than a blank screen.

In the installer of distro's including xfree86 4.2 it allmost doesn't matter what card you select except for the NV1 and the Riva128(ZX) for the rest all nvidia cards use the same driver. There are no special options to set it to a specific card.
