O/Cing FSB

Well I am Overclocking again so far managed to get my CPU stable at 3.2GHz at 1.3500 Voltage. I have to ways the first way I can leave the multiplier at 9x, and achieve the O/C by putting my FSB to 1423MHz, resulting in 3201MHz Core clock, Vista, and Orthos both show correct clock speeds this way. The other way is to set the Multiplier to 8x and set the FSB to 1600 giving me a solid 3200MHz, however Vista, and Orthos shows 3600MHz clocks. It don't really bother me either way as both show up correctly under ntune monitor, and CPU-Z. However would the 1600MHz run faster then the 1423 enough that I should go with that method?

Yes.

THat is the 1600 strap.. once you pass that you can get even higher FSBs. Im surprised you got it to stabilize in the high 300s.. the memory controller normally needs more voltage to maintain high 1333 strap clocks.

Why does windows read it is 3600MHz? Is there a way to fix this?
