When are new 7xxx series drivers coming?!?

How about some love for us 7000 series owners? Are we out in the cold with vista? Is Nvidia taking the same stance on "older" hardware as Creative Labs? The only driver updates I'm seeing are for the 8000 series cards.:thumbdwn:

probably because they have the most problems atm.

Side by side, I see a lot more problems with my 7900 than my friend has with his 8800.

Well, same attitude as Creative.
X-Fi owners got Alchemy to emulate EAX, but in the end Creative did cave in to make it work for Audigy cards aswell (by the end of the year) - but unlike X-Fi owners, Audigy owners will have to *pay* for that.

Just modify the .inf of the "8x00" drivers and you're good to go. Works great with my 7600 GT.

I might try the 8800 ones soon just to see if cs:s works any better. I am still gettting like half the performance of XP althought my 3mark06 scores are pretty much the same.
