I'd like to see how crappy it's gonna run on my PC . . . :(

I really don't see it running much slower than Prey or Quake 4...

About the release, in the same issue from which I scanned that picture, the editor confirms that QW wont be slipping this time, as they were well into reviewing the final release.

Yeah, I can't wait to uninstall BF2142...

I still enjoy the odd game of 2142. Gibraltar and Suez are pretty nice maps. Still haven't tried Northern Strike though.

Do you still play BF2 too?

I tend to focus on one online FPS at a time.

could be some bad news guys or they are just trying to protect PC gamer's exclusive

There's not going to be a demo on June 7.

Yep, with BF I usually rotate between 2 and 2142. This week it happens to be BF2 I'm playing. Lets fire up Xfire and play sometime.

Guess I will be looking out for my next issue of PC Gamer then - hopefully it doesn't come late like it does sometimes.

is QW meant to be DirectX10?

if so, it would run on some machines alot slower then Q4....

No. Quake Wars, like all D3 engine games, uses OpenGL as its graphics API. I also doubt it uses any of the new 'DX10 class' extensions.... though I guess it could.
