Is it a 2GB problem?

I dont tink is a 2gb problem more of a memory leak . I can see on my second monitor and G15 screen how the memory keps going up from 1500mb to 1850+ as the maps change or the game goes on

Wait, you have 32-bit! Weird. One of the first posters mentioned it was a 64-bit problem, guess not. I've tried EA, to get them to fix it, but nothing. I've also written a nVidia bug report. I suggest you do the same, maybe the bugs with more problems are fixed first.

I just install the new drivers 162.15 lets see how they work

Good luck! I read something in the release notes about BF2, don't remember what, though! :D

Yet another note. I haven't experienced any slow downs, minus the usual server lag.

I got a memory error again at 1.45 time of play. im going to leave my computer runing memtester for a minimum of 12.00 hours just in case:thinker:
i forgot to mention im runing the game at max setings and 8x antialiasing
1680X1050 resolution and on nvdia control panel
anisotropic filtering=16x
antialiasing-gamma correction=on
antialiasing-mode=enhance the application setting
antialiasing-setting=8xQ
antialiasing-transparency=supersampling
conformant texture clamp=off
error reporting=on
extension limit=on
force mipmaps=trilinear
multi-display/mix-gpu acceleration=multiple diplay performance mode
texturefiltering-anisontropic sample optimization=off
texture filtering-negative LOD bias=allow
texture filtering-Quality=High quality
texture filtering-trilinear optimization=off

That is close what I'm running, I'm just at 8x AA instead of 8xQ. Maybe one or two other things are different, I'm not sure. I'll have to check.
Yeah, I ran MemTest a while ago, ran all night w/o a single error.
~Ibrahim~
I finish memtester on 16:24 hours and no errors so memory is out off the question:thumbdwn:
~Ibrahim~ can you run the game on the same settings as i have. to see if you can get the memory error ? please thanks:captnkill:

Ouch! Sorry, it's a bad time. I just sent my OPC in for repair, this being one of the issues they'd look at. I'll see if they can cook anything up!

I got a message from them telling me that they are fairly certain it crashed for me was because of a dual-core affinity issue and possibly Dreamscene as well.
~Ibrahim~
do you know a fix for the dual core affinity issue ??

You can do it manually by going into Task Manger, selecting the process, right clicking, selecting 'Set Affinity', selecting CPU0 only.
Or just use this (http://www.tomshardware.com/2004/05/28/getting_more_bang_out_of_your_dual_processing_buck/).
