Can anyone suggest what brand or more specifically, which cooling fan would be best to replace the original with?

I just need it replaced just so the v-card wont have an unexpected fry, because of a fan going south.

Any suggestions?

thanks

Ok, I've done that too. But that was a 60mm on a GF3 with a large heat sink. How big a fan can you fit on the GF4? You could always get an 80mm and fasten it with strips or something. Not sure how that would hold up in the long run.

Mainly just worried about the fan dieing on me, and not knowing it, because I dont have any kind of monitor on it.

Id hate to fry this expensive old card. :)

I bought the Visiontek Geforce 4 Ti-4600 the day it was released.........Awsome card. It's still running in a friends machine :)

you are passing up some good advise if you don't look into the VF700 or the FS-V7. What better way to take good care of that old expensive card than by putting a Zalman on it :)
