Anyone tried it? I remember reading in the manual of my 680i mobo the third 16x pci-e slot 'could' be used for a third graphics card, and the GTX has the proper bridging. I can get a third GTX pretty cheap right now from a friend but I'd like to know if it'll work first...

...Cmon JaKup I know you've tried it. :D

My apologies if this subject has been beat to death and is painfully offensive.

There's "overkill", and then there's overkill.

This.. is "overkill."

Unless you have a couple of big tv's

Can't you only use 1 monitor in SLI mode?

The new Bear Lake's have a WS series with Quad GPU support.

We don't need stuff like that, all we need is Intel SLI support ;)

Might as well go with a 30" monitor id there is going to be 3 cards in sli.

I'm going to pickup the 3rd card anyways. If there's still no support in a couple of months I'll just sell it off.

...and X, I'll take that as a compliment coming from you. :D

Once Crysis is out Im going to pick up another GTX, and watercooling. Two is plenty enough for me.

That'll last me a good year or two for all the games that come out.
