Ghost does not iirc resize a partition and allocate from a larger disk to a smaller disk than the original partition.

I'm going out of town tonight and won't be able to reply to any posts until Monday. Hope you enjoy the screens. Like the reviews said, this game plays very well on the 2900XT.

Seems to perform about the same as the g80,i had 16xAF and TMS enabled though so i dunno how much of a difference that makes. But i see you started a offline profile, dont forget that you cannot use that profile online and that you have to start over again if you want to race online. And that car is really crap hehe, the alfa is a better choice,it will work well in all F challenges through 2 upgrades and then at the third it changes class to E so you can use it there. You can save heaps of cash that way since you dont need to buy another car for a long time.Next time start a race and take screenies during the replay and i can try the same race with the same settings and we can compare it a little easier.(since i lost my saves i have to start over anyway)Hf out of town m8:)

My mobo in main main pc (sig) is most certainly dead, bluescreened and bluescreened again after reboot and now it just beeps,a long beep that according to asus is ramrelated.Tried 3 different sets of ram so my guess is that the memorycontroller is fried so no benchmarks from me for some time i guess.
I will not mourn his passing as it was a timely and deserved death,no relatives will attend his funeral,he was always a struggle to handle and if you asked him to run instead of walk he would flatout refuse.
I havent decided yet if i will wait for the RMA to complete or buy another board, maybe ill buy something cheap that i can use as a backup.

Drop 680i and never look back. If you never intend to run SLI, then go with a good P965 board like the Asus P5B Deluxe or Gigabyte DS3.
Get that replacement RMA and stick it on eBay.
Blanket statements...Mike C is running his 680i well, so is Rytr, so is Kyle, so is Jakup and so many. One of my friends has a 680i SLI and GTX SLI and that has been running good for a few months now.
Seems you boys got crap luck and incredible series of coincidence...but seems you boys over generalize.
I nearly went 680i but, thought to myself I would nbnever invest in an SLI setup again cost too much which means upgrading is a financial burden so I got myself the bearlake mobo :p

Dude, Im telling you I think you would absolutely love the Asus P5b delux! I picked mine up off of ebay for $112, it was actually an open box item and I didnt realize it but it came with all the accessories and everything works perfect.
I am running my E6600@3.6ghz at 450mhz FSB and all 4 sticks of ram are running rock stable at 900mhz 4 4 4 5 with a nice fast 1:1 ratio.
Here is one for $119.00

The definition of running well often differs greatly from person to person. It is a well known fact that the 680I's are no where near as reliable as a whole when compared to that of the Intel Chipsets.
Dont even get me started on the ridiculous heat that the NB's put out on the 680I's! lawl!

Yeh heat is indeed far too high other than that, if you've got a good batch, one that hasn't got any issues then it's a good board.
And yes, people generalise way too much.

Well I guess I can agree as there seem to be a lucky few out there who have a really good and reliable 680I board that doesnt have the issues that some of the others have.
But really, what the F is up with all of the inconsistency's in the 680I platform? thats what I cant stand. Im not willing to go through board after board after board hoping I will get that magic fix one day? I dont have time for that BS as i just want to OC and play some damn games.
Intel Chipsets are pretty much consistent across the board and very very reliable while being outstanding Overclockers. This is my Second P5b delux board and so far for the hell of it I have tested it at 535mhz FSB and the damn thing booted right up with no issues at all. The first one I ever owned would reach 525mhz FSB and I know that Xion used to own one that was also good for 500mhz+ FSB.
For you guys with 680I's that are running great more power to you and I hope you enjoy it while it last. As for me I am done with SLI and Nvidia chipsets, Going back to the P965 chipset was the best decision I ever made for myself.;)

Yea i talked to them today, theyre gonna call me back next week and said it wasnt impossible to exchange it for something else,i did however plan to run sli, that was my initial plan anyway but since any overclocking wasnt possible with the board i had i kinda canned that idea.A standard 6600 cant really power 2 GTX cards and i wouldnt get the increase i was looking for.Gotta talk to them again first before deciding.

Yeh it's probably a matter of luck, I had tough luck with 2 P965 mobos, changing a BIOS setting like primary boot device would cause the whole pc to lock up, eventually the motherboard ended up dead after running memtest for 3 hours, it would refuse to do anything but power on. The replacement had the same thing, change something in the BIOS, wham it would lock up totally and that was a newer revision too (Board and BIOS). Then I decided to get myself an nvidia mobo. If it went the same way as what happend to yours I would have sent it back already for a P5B-Deluxe, that was my second choice, but I didn't want the fiasco to happena again.

This is a little weird,i know we have done oblivion benches to death but i wanted to compare 165.01 vs 158.22 and the outcome wasnt what i expected. The latest official nvidia xp driver is 10% faster than the 165.01 for oblivion or atleast it doesnt dip as low.Not what i expected tbh.I also did the same with 160.03 and that was exactly the same as 165.01 so i didnt bother posting that.I also had issues with 165.01 removal with driver cleaner, did the standard safemode procedure when testing 160.03 after 165.01 and drivercleaner told me the files were gone but still the 160 installer asked if i wanted to overwrite newer existing files, strange, i havent had that with any other driver before.

I've had zero problems with all the Intel mobos I've tried, that's P965 and i975x.
If you want to run Crossfire go i975x. P965 can do it and you take a performance hit for using 16x + 4x.
If you want a chipset that can run anywhere from a 440-500FSB on default board voltages try P965. I know the new P35 boards are out and they haven't really been proven yet. If you plan on getting one of Intel's 1333 chips you will need one. I don't. My next move will be to a Xeon X3220 G-0.
If ATi gets their drivers together for the R600 or R650, I may very well try Crossfire again later this year or early next year. I'll have to pick up a new PSU though. Hopefully Seasonic's X900 will be available in the US by that time, or I 'spose I could grab a Silverstone DA850.
