Im not starting another moan session so I dont know what you are talking about. I posted all that 680I stuff within the same day and have not said anything about it ever since.

Yeah, I realize that. I bought this copy used and can't log on w/ a profile. I'm guessing the prior owner already had an online account set up.

It only has that "blinding" brightness when you turn directly into the sun--just like real life. In real life, you can't drive directly towards the sun and not have it just about blind you.. this is much the same. I just wanted to give a feel of how bright the HDR can get when you're looking directly into it, but it's not always that bright.

Does anyone else have Test Drive and can test it out on their card to see if the HDR is working right? Preferably someone w/ G80 but doesn't have to be.

Check mine from eariler in this thread,hdr is working there,yours do seem a bit ott though ^^

What i do remember though is that HDR looked better on 160 an upwards drivers,it didnt make much of a difference on the 158's,cant try it now though since this pc cant run the game that good.Will try it when my RMA completes.

Yea it looked way too much imo,like the HDR value was set too high in it like you can do in far cry with console commands.Damn that i lost my save,looking at my screens makes me miss my cars :cry:

Yeah, this game is awesome man.. I just wish I could play it online!

I wonder if there's any way I can work around this. Every time I try to create a new profile it either tells me the name's taken or that the password doesn't match.

Ah! I forgot I had an old password from Battlefield 2 on Gamespy.. maybe that's where it's screwing up. It's trying to match that email w/ this.

Crap, I found my Gamespy password and was able to log in, but now it's telling me that I need an update to play online. When I click to update, it brings up a blank window and says page not found. Have you had this problem?

No maybe you need to download a newer version of gamespy ? The tdu patch isnt out yet,the game never told me to update because of that fact.The first time i tried the game i chose a online profile right away and created the account within the game and that worked,weird thing is that i had to create it seperatly at gamespys site later to be able to log in with it there.

I just tried to create a new online profile within the game and that worked so i dont see why your game shouldnt work unless your serial number isnt valid,using multiple online profiles works.I started the game,clicked profiles and clicked the blue new button at the bottom of the page and checked the gamespy id in the box.Then i just typed any nick that was weird enough not to be used by anyone else and then my other email addy and a password and it worked fine.It sounds to me that you are trying to use a nickname already chosen by someone else.Try something different ,add something infront or after your nick and check that gamespy box.

Tested some more and the key is password associated with email adress.As long as i used the same password for the same email addy i can use more than one online profile for that same email addy,Just created a profile called XionX2H2o2900 just to test hehe.Try using another email adress ,i mean if that gamepy password is bound to another email or vice versa it wont work,use a hotmail addy or something you havent used before when you create a new online profile within the game,then it SHOULD just be a matter of finding a nick that isnt occupied already.HDR works fine with 158.22's aswell,disabled it and then enabled it when within the game and it was like turning on a light.

you have to create a new profile

some games simply don't accept already created profiles. also there is no reason to have gamespy arcade installed to play TDU online

my first GS profile was nekrosoft13
for TDU Beta i had to make nekrosoft131
in TDU retail i had to make nekro13
in GRAW2 beta i had to make nekro

all are under the same e-mail, if i go to gamepsyid.com i can sign in with all profiles, i remember all the passwords. so thats not the issue.
