And.........??? Those are still DX9 games which have nothing....ZILCH....NODDA.........to do with the USA:rolleyes2

Also the 360 is only capable of doing partial (certain elements of Dx10 code) Once those type of titles (partial dx10) hit the 360 then and only then will the Xenos be fully exploited with its USA.

ROTFL, like you should be telling me this.

Btw........Thought you were done arguing like 3-4 post ago? LOL.

He put you on ignore dude, he wont see your post. But, keep fanning the flames as that is what you seem to love to do.

I couldn't give 2 sh!ts bud. Him putting me on ignore is the equivalent of someone plugging there ears and screaming (nanana I cant hear you) only because they know they are wrong and cant accept the truth. LOL.

I wouldn't both putting him on ignore Xion- if he keeps up at his rate he wont be here much longer. ;)

We can only hope as the guy is completely delusional and wrong on so many things it is laughable. I'd like to see him post some of this trash over at Beyond3D.com. he'd get set straight so fast it would make his head spin, that or explode.

Ok, now that that is taken care of, Can we please return to what this thread was started for. We can only hope he gets canned or tired of posting.

Sammy--I'm seeing no difference w/ 16xHQAF enabled on Test Drive (I had HQ on before, btw, it was just set to 8x). I just don't use 16xAF because I see no visual difference w/ it enabled. But just out of curiosity I benched w/ 16xAF instead of 8xAF just while ago and snapped some screens. I've tried enabling Adaptive AA, but it's not working on this driver. The moment I enable any AA in the driver the game loses all AA and there are jaggies galore.

Same settings as before except for the 16xAF. 1680x1050 and 4xAA (in-game):

As you can see, there's no difference in performance w/ 16x anisotropic. And like I've been saying, the 2900 runs these newer games w/ AA and AF just fine. I don't know why it's struggling so much with older titles like F.E.A.R., etc but maybe it has something to do with the shaders on these newer games being utilized better. That's just me guessing, though. I'm not a programmer/engineer. I just call it like I see it.

Yea 16xAF doesnt take any more of a performance hit than 8xAF does so i use the higher value just because of that, transparency multisampling does though, will find out how much when the mobo is back.Bought my self a 360 with pgr3 and forza 2 today to keep myself occupied until then, having a blast tbh :D

Here's the demo for "GRAW 2" I briefly benched on my overclocked GTX. Detail settings are provided in the first screen and I'll list them anyway. In order to assist dial-up users I post all my screens as clickable thumbs and process them through IrfanView at 70% quality. I don't like using any lower quality because the loss becomes unacceptable to me.:

Blacklash, I think you should use a different site to post your shots. All I'm seeing is tiny squares with red X's.

Really? I suppose I can try Imageshack again. They became so slow I switched. They all appear for me fine in the latest Firefox browser. I tried loading them in IE 7 and had no problems as well. I rebooted before I tested to make sure they weren't cached on my system.

Who else can't see the shots in #931?

Try tinypic, always fast, and less bandwidth restrictions compared to imageshack :)

@jakUp

I will give them a try.

I don't often upload huge images. I am looking for a speedy and reliable service though.

I went back and added direct links to the images for folks having trouble with clickable thumbs.

You could try photobucket. It isn't free, but to pay lasts for a year and you can upload resolutions up to 2560x1600 I believe, as well as videos and other crap. Not bad at all in my opinion. Just thought I'd mention photobucket, as since I've become a paying member I'm loving what they offer. :D

Obie could you try a run with the same settings and 1680x1050 ? I'd like to see how much impact your cpu at 3.3hgz has on the score compared to xions 2.4ghz 6600.

Please note that ati tool was released for HD2900xt and I am using that now. I am still trying to find decent clocks.

Are you using the same drivers as Xion ? His score was higher than yours eventhough his cpu was at 2400mhz.
