So, is pricewatch dead?

the last few times i've visited to check on some prices, the search function doesn't work at all (nor from the link at NVNEWS)
and it doesn't seem to be updated in all categories.

Anyone else notice this?

You scared the crap out of me until I checked it, it's loading/searching just fine for me too.

I'd hate to imagine a world without pricewatch in it, it's one of me now indespensible online resources! (Right behind google. ;) )

I haven't bought anything from Pricewatch in a long time cuz' I distrust a lot of the merchants they have. I do check prices with them though.

And yea...I think it's still alive.

Works for me too, but there's always http://www.pricegrabber.com which isn't too bad either.

every time i try to use the search engine, i get the "unspecified error" screen..
the last 4 or 5 times i've been there, the site's been basically useless to me.
i can plow through EVERY listing they have, but i'd rather just be able to check stuff right away that i'm looking for.
they also don't have GFFX cards listed - strange.

but i'll try that pricegrabber site, hopefully it'll work just as well.


by the way omghi2u, pricewatch doesn't SELL stuff, they just lead you to vendors that sell - after you leave pricewatch, as always, it's buyer beware.
I , fortunately, never had a bad experience with one of their vendors i found through the site.

Unless there is a seriously big price difference I always order from newegg, they're simply and best online store for computing needs.

I second that, bar none, they're one of the best online shops currently in existence. Just ordered a few things there on wed shipped ground and still got it on Fri. They were able to ship it out same day even though they had to redo an address verification with my bank cause I'm in the process of moving. No wonder they're rated 9.78 on resellerratings.com (www.resellerratings.com) :cool3:
