Here is a tidbit from performance in F.E.A.R.
Once again, the 8600 GT is able to smoke through the benchmarks until maximum engine settings at 2560x1600. F.E.A.R. definitely gave the 8500 GT a run for its money with performance never breaking out of the mid-20s in terms of average frames per second. Double-digit framerate at 2560x1600 with medium and high settings was quite surprising and shows that for all the diminished power behind the 8500 GT it has a fighter's spirit.
