Bought from newegg.com

I recently bought the Soltek Nforce2 baord from Newegg.com :D But I ended up slipping with screw driver when getting heat sink on and actually killed the board. :( It would turn on but nothing would happen, I tired everything believe me!

So long story short I RMA the board. You can see where I hit it, I didn't crack it, just cut some bus lines. I was wondering if anyone else has had something similar happen and Newegg.com was cool about it. I know they are known for their service but I just wanted to hear about actual experiences.

well, I am definitly an avid newegg.com user, but unfoutunitly, they dont guarantee anything that happens to the products during installation, its sad to say, but i dont think newegg would care, however, you can just tell them to board was DOA, and maybe then they will replace it, but i dunno if you can see where you hit the MOBO. :(
