MGS2 (PC) sound problem on Nforce2 Boards!

hey all,
i got MGS2 Substacne for the PC, but when i play it the sound is all static-ky/muffled/garbled. others have played this w/o a problem so i was thinking that it might be the Nforce2 onboard sound.

any solutions or other ppl w/ this problem?

If it uses EAX, it might be the bug which is fixed in the next driver set.

i dont think it uses EAX. the ppl @ rage3d said that the sound problem is related Soundstorm and there is definetly a video incompatibility that Konami admits to under radeon cards

btw when does the next nforce drivers comne out.
