VGA Adapter for the PS3?

You're going to need something like a component to VGA adapter or something.

Supposedly they actually exist, but you can't find them anywhere in the US. In the PS3 User's Manual there is a picture of the VGA cable....but I couldn't find the thing on any site or in any store.

A friend informed me that you could import them from Japan...but that sounded like too much trouble/money for me, so I just stick with component.

Are you sure that is a vga cable and not a d-link cable? They look virtually the same ( I checked the www.play-asia.com pages). I think Sony is pushing hdmi for digital connections for obvious reasons.
