A7N8X Deluxe with a ATI 9500 Pro

Has anyone gotten a 9500 pro working with a nforce2 chipset board?

AFAIK, it won't work, ever, unless nVidia releases a special AGPGART module supporting the nForce2, or AGPGART reverse engineers the support.

In other words, you are SOL if neither of those things happens.

What does this mean, no 3d support or no video support for ATI cards ?

Can I use my ATI 7500 with X and just not use the DRI stuff/3d accel ?

by working, i mean 3d accel . .....et all, 2d works ok.

I'm using the radeon driver from XFree86 and X does work. I just don't have 3d acceleration. XVideo extensio does not appear to work either.
