think he means, it's french, not exactly hard to understand though.

Cards Supported: GF 6/7/8
Date: 20/05/2007
WHQL date (pffft): 04/06/2007

158.45 27/05/2007 (as comparison, so these new ones are a few days older)

Did the driver originally support all of them?

Gah, so these are the same 160 series that were replaced by a lower series number a while back right? Just in WHQL flavor.

Sometimes I swear they are just trying to give me a brain attack.

Did the driver originally support all of them?

yes because these are WHQL, as far as i know WHQL can't be faked.

(correct me if i'm wrong)

Digital Vibrance? (Sounding like a broken record here, DV skip, DV skip etc etc)

I will try these, so far 160.03 is the ONLY driver so far for Geforce 8800 and Vista that has working Overscan Compensation for all of those that like to play games and watch movies on our HD tv's.

158.45 does not have it. Although 158.45 is the only driver that can run COJ dx10 benchmark. 160.03 crash, so I hope 160.04 is working better and has all the dx10 optimizations in it......

The COJ benchmark runs fine for me on 160.03. I'll have to download these and see if there are any performance improvements though.

To the OP - Thanks for the heads up.

think most go by dates now, they just go eww it's oldddddddddddd

so they no one will try them, imo. but i could be wrong, bet someone is benching them right now....

still i don't go by benchies, i go by; no artifacts, good temps, good overclocking, good fps average in a game, and no screwed up video/dvd playback = nice *thumbs up*

Benched COH DX10. Slower than 158.45 and with visuals problems. Not rendering
muzzle flashes, not rendering the search lights properly...
Back to 158.45 for me

1) These are a little slower.

2) I left my Steve Austin bionicle eyeball at the bar about a year ago so I can't comment on whatever double-nano-super-miniscule IQ changes have taken place. I'll leave that to the other posters here that still have there 6-million dollar man gear....but then again I can't tell the difference between 60fps and 80fps either so you would probably want someone else's expert opinion anyway :D

No DV eh? :thumbdwn:

Dragunov

they are older than the 158.45, so yeah no DV me guess, but I just don't understand the way they number the drivers 158.45 is 5 days newer than this one

Correct?
