hey guys, im trying to run the new Slackware 9.0 with an original nForce board, but im having some trouble. the graphical fix worked fine, but im having trouble installing the nForce drivers for the chipset (incl. the audio, which i dont care about, and the net drivers)
it seems to have trouble when it gets to the audio part of the install, saying that it doesnt know what to do with i810 audio something or other. (sorry i dont have the error codes to go with it)
ive tried using the RPM source install, which told me there was an error in the temp dir it was using, i tried tarballs, and thats where i get the audio error. any ideas? anyone have this trouble?
