Hello everyone,

I would like to buy a new lcd monitor with a native resoultion of 1680x1050.

Is my GeForce 6200 card capable of displaying such resolution?

I have downloaded the latest driver, but that resolution is not yet listed in the display mode...

Can someone help me?

bye.

Yes, but the res will not display until a monitor that supports it is connected to it.

It'll work just fine... however, the only game you'll be able to play at that resolution and get 60fps constantly is Counter Strike 1.6

I am lookin to buy ACER 22 inch widescreen monitor, for this I purcahased Nvidia GeForce 6200 LE. The native res. for that monitor is 1600 * 1080, and the closest I can get is 1600*1024 by this card.

Can somebody advice whether this will surely change when I purchase and plug in the monitor or this new card has to go down the drain.

Please help, maybe I still have the chance to replace the card as I just bought it yesterday off a shop.

That card has a max analog (VGA) resolution of 2048x1536
and a max digital (DVI) of 1920x1200
