View Full Version : What happens if your Wii breaks and you need to buy a new one?
What happens to all your virtual console games? You have to buy them all again? This is making me sick to think about this.

if you contact Nintendo, they may have a way for you to re-download them.

Thought about it myself... so far I have only bought Punch out because PUNCH OUT FREAKING OWNS!... don't plan on buying any others though... especially since I have no idea how they work with regards to getting them if you switch to a new system (and another reason I hate the buddy key or whatever and no actual user name that you create and have a password for).
At this point you'd have to send your console back in to Nintendo for a replacement anyway, and I would assume they'd transfer all of your data over to the new one.
Buy a SD card and put your games on it?
they won't transfer over to the new console via SD card. I have two Wiis and thought tried that myself. No go.
