Am disappointed that I can't get my i945 mobo to do 1920x1200 it seems.

Was all set to buy a 7600GT on the basis of recent reviews and not needing gaming etc - but it seems that while this is listed as supported under Linux and FreeBSD, the consumer cards aren't on the Solaris supported products list.

This is confusing!

Can anyone confirm that the 7600GT cards work well under Solaris b64a x86 and amd64?

Thanks
James

Yes, the 7x00 series works. nVidia only officially *supports* non-Quadro cards, but the consumer level ones work just fine.

I'm using an eVGA 7800 GT KO at the moment.
