advent rising - need help

Hye,

I've installed the game (no NODVD cracks) and it runs strangely fast
I can barely see what I'm doing. It's like some sort of LAG.
never had this problem in any game...

does anybody have any idea what I'm talking about??

Some older games don't have a frame limiter. I would enable VSYNC and set your refresh rate to something low like 60hz (which is what most LCDs run at anyways).

yeah just set vsync to on and assuming its at 60 the game will run fine. Great game btw.

If you own a AMD Dual-Core CPU install AMD's Dual-core Optimizer (http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/Setup.exe) to solve the problem.

I tried everything you said but still really fast... though a bit slower than before after 60HTz + vsync...
maybe theres a patch or something I dont know about
