For 3Ghz, stock voltage should be fine, but you could increase it by .5 and see if that helps somewhat.
Roll back the vcore voltage stock and reduced little bit other voltages.
I reach the 2.90ghz seems stable,i did some bencmark its working but when hit the 3ghz pc shut down again.
i think i missed something :(

When your OC isn't stable you INCREASE voltages. ;)

Create yourself a signature so that we can tell what your specs are. Kind of hard to help you without knowing what parts you own.

Stock voltage is 1.325 V. Guy from HardOCP suggested a modest increase to 1.35 V for stability. :) But do not cross 1.4 V unless you have decent cooling like a good water cooling set
Thanks everyone,id increase vcore voltage to 1.35 and working stable.
i run 3D mark 06 and each test loop 8 times and finished without any crash or error.
cpu get 2638 point :)
is it good,isn't it?
BTW Xion X2,i have signature from now on thanks for advice.

I use air cooling, and need 1.5v to hit 3.6Ghz. Runs completely stable.

Yeah, sigs definitely help when you have questions like these. It sure beats posting specs over and over. ;)

mine at 3.2 is 36/38/39 idle , peaks at 52, stock vcore (well it was earlier today)
northbridge 1.45v
If you look at the core2 overclock db on hardforum some guy is getting 3.6 with 1.336vcore on air.
