View Full Version : Constant crashing with Safari on nvnews

I just got back from a month long hiatus and have started to browse the nvnews forums. Whats differant is that I get unexpected crashes navigating through the forums pretty often. I was wondering if any other OS X users are experiancing this issue.. or maybe one of the Mods know of any incompatability.

I just saw the above post about the flash issues for windows users and double checked that I have latest flash version, and I do. Did a clean install 2 days ago.. so, hrmm.

I prefer OS X, but I do dual boot Windows XP as well, but thats just for games..

My guess would be the excessively cumbersome JavaScript on this site like intellitext, pricegrabber, googlesyndication, etc. Firefox doesn't mind but it makes Opera crawl.

Note; not complaining, MikeC has to make some money to offset the hosting costs.

Yeah, if I do use the net in WinXP I use Opera myself, as well. I'll have to give try OS X side, though I the last version I did try was really slow.. I think it might not have been a universal binary as it was a long while ago. I could stand the boards being slow, but the random crashing is fraking annoyin.
