MX440 Driver Mandrake 9

I am completely new to Linux.

Running Mandrake 9.
Chip = Athlon XP 2100. Gainward video card. MX440 chipset.

Can anyone explain to me (idiot stylee) which driver and exactly
how to install it. Mandrake is installed, but only have shell style
interface. I have to get Linux working cos I'm totally pissed off with Bill G's Kingdom.

Download NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run.

In console mode, type 'sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4349.run'.

Edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file per the instructions in the README.

Type 'startx'. :)
