I hope this version fixes the problems I had in GRAW and GRAW2 mp demo that the 162.15 driver had.

Downloading now, but I have 162.15 and they are working great so far. Any release notes?. I've only found this:

Beta driver release.
Improved compatibility for Lost Planet.
Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0c and OpenGL® 2.1 support.
Numerous game and application compatibility fixes.
Please read the release notes for more information on product support, feature limitations, driver fixes and known compatibility issues.

Havent tested performance yet , but the bug where the "Use Nvidia Scaling with fixed aspect ratio" still wont save. I select this option and click apply and it selects right back to "use my displays built in scaling". I have a BenQ24W with it set at 1:1 . I had to use the "Enable OverscanCompensation" fix to get it to stick.

Well this driver causes the same problems in GRAW and GRAW2 as the 162.15 driver. :thumbdwn: I guess I will have to wait for GRAW2 to come out to force Nvidia to fix the GRAW issues in their latest drivers.:headexplode:

Just curious. For the 7XXX series cards, why the jump from 94.24 to 168.15 ?
The latest official are 94.24 and most beta drivers previously were 9X.XX.
I was under the impression they started numbering their drivers using the 100 prefix to distinguish the 8XXX series cards.
Any ideas ??
Are both versions of the control panel included ?? i.e. old and new

cheers

The numbering of the driver has nothing to do with the 8800gtx. It's just that Nvidia hasn't had to release a new driver for xp geforce 7 and lower series because no game had come out to force them to make a new one. Now that Lost Planet is out, Nvidia is forced to support the FX-7 series cards with the latest drivers. I'm going to have to wait for an even newer driver because the 162 series drivers do not like GRAW or GRAW2. Once GRAW2 is released Nvidia will be forced to release a new driver again that fixes the issues in that game. About the cp, I don't know if the old one is still there but I'm willing to bet it probably is. Of course I could be mistaken about that.

PS: The 94.24 driver is a joke. Nvidia has yet to release the release notes for the driver. Also, the english version's WHQL stamp is missing. I can tell you right now that 94.24 driver has a lighting problem with Battlefield 2 Special Forces which causes buildings and windows to light up as if it were day time occasionally on night maps.

What issues are you having ?

I also have GRAW. Might install these drivers and see if I have what problems you are having.

With the original GRAW the problem is that shadows do not work properly. Instead of objects casting shadows you get the huge square shadow that follows you everywhere on the ground. Only way around it is to turn shadows off or fall back to a previous driver. Also, in the GRAW2 mp and sp demos the graphics are totally corrupt with this driver and unplayable on 7xxx geforce cards. Other people with 8800gtx cards on xp have reported also that for them shadows don't work properly with this driver in the GRAW2 demos.
