Well... back in the woods I know of a nice little cabin. Room for only two, and it is definitely miles from civilization. You'll need four wheel drive just to get to the trail head, then from there it is a good day's hike to the cabin. It has a cute little creek flowing right by it with two waterfalls. Just let me know. :p

What's not masculine about that? I'll be honest- it's our hunting cabin. We drive to the trail head, hike in to the cabin. Then early the next day we start hunting from the cabin. We'll put on a day-pack and start making our way through the woods, making use of the heavily-utilised deer trails in that area. It really is an awesome place. But when you mentioned a vacation for your wifey that place jumped into my mind- I think it'd be an awesome place to escape to with my lady. I'll get to go four-wheelin' with her beside me, then I get to go hiking through some of the most gorgeous country you'll ever see- with her beside me, then we'd be livin in a cabin (very private) just her and I. Sounds like an awesome get away to me. :D

Too bad that cabin burned down last summer. Big forest fire swept through that area, and the cabin is no-more. :( :( :( We're giving the area some time to get some growth back, then we'll probably head in to re-build the cabin.

Thanks. It's not a matter of being able to- it's just a matter of when. I'm sure looking forward to getting that hunting spot back though. :D
