Ive got a 2900XT and I have ATI Tool v0.27
How do I set ATI Tool to stay at 2D clock settings while on the desktop (500ish/500ish) and 3D clock or overclocked settings while in a game. I been playing with it, and it seems the 3D-Detection thing dosnt work. Or im doing it wrong. I also keep ATI tool running in the tray. Does that matter? Is there a simple way to do this other then 3D-Detection? Is there something better then ATI Tool? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
I keep my computer running 24/7 and when im not gaming would like the card to run as cool and quiet as possible.
