Windows XP :thumbdwn:

Wish they would have shown Vista and some DX10.

This game needs to come out so Crytek can get some money coming in and Cevat can get a hair cut.

Bleh!!! I can't afford a quad. An E6600 will have to do unfortunately.

I can barely afford to upgrade to a 3800 939skt before they go instinct! Maybe once prices come way down I can just make a whole new rig lol.

Now, the Q6600 and the CPU being demoed here are the same, or is this new-er quad core tech?

The Yorkfield is intel's next big quad core CPU (Penryn is the dual core model). It should be out Q1 of next year.

anyone else notice the singular, unflinching facial expression of the korean troop(s) when they're being held by the neck (and about to be thrown)? kinda turns me off.

They werent like that in previous videos. It was probably either a glitch or a really old build.

Actually, Penryn will a mobile part. For destops, Wolfdale is the dual core version, and Yorkfield is quad core with two Wolfdale dies.

So if I buy a quad-core on July 22 for $266 I'm buying which one? :)

Aren't there some architectual improvments from a Kentsfield to Yorkie?

Hopefully my current QX6700 will be good enough - having 2x8800GTX should help also.

I'm betting a e6600 will run it just fine. I'm waiting for the Yorkfield personally.

Yorkfield will have some new instructions like SSE4.
