I recently purchaced an AGP PNY 7600GS card to replace my old 5200fx. In some games I experience hardlocks and must reset the computer. Most notably is World of Warcraft which I cant play for more than 5 minutes before it crashes, other games last longer - but still eventually crash. Sound still plays in the background while the video is locked. Have tried numerous forceware driver versions and VIA AGP drivers (including the microsoft xp universal agp driver) to no avail. Ran a memtest and passed. Any help appreciated as I am ready to toss the entire thing out of a window. (po)

Heres my specs:
Running Windows XP Professional
Chaintech K8T800 Mobo w/AMD Athlon64 2800+
2gb Corsair Ram
Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS
450 Watt Power Supply (Card Power is Connected)

Play a game till it crashes and have a feel around the card to see how hot the cooler is, the ram and the back of the card and if the fan is spinning the second it does.

Make sure your agp clock (mobo) is correct as well.

Well so far the replacement power supply seems to have done the trick. It hasnt crashed yet and has been running WoW for about an hour. The cooling seems ok - I had checked by hand on a previous crash and it wasnt too hot. The clock speed is being reported correctly.
