Hi all!

I read in other forums that more people got this output error when they tried to install new drivers. Some people gives this solution, "use nvidia-7xxx series drivers".

We are testing PC-BSD/FreeBSD drivers and I have this problem:

NVRM: The NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 GPU installed in this system is
NVRM: supported through the NVIDIA Legacy drivers. Please
NVRM: visit http://www.nvidia.com/object/unix.html for more
NVRM: information. The 1.0-9746 NVIDIA driver will ignore
NVRM: this GPU. Continuing probe...

I tried both:
- nvidia-9746
- nvidia-100.14.11

And I should give special attention about the supported GPUs by nvidia-9xxx drivers. My graphic card is supported
( GeForce4 Ti 4200-0x0253 ).
Should I use nvidia-7xxx and forget newer ones?
Would someone ask me for writting some commands that could specify why its not detected my graphic card?
Should I throw away my nvidia card and buy me a new one? :P

Thanks a lot!

The most recent NVIDIA FreeBSD graphics driver release with support for your GPU is 1.0-9639 at the time of this writing. Your GPU will continue to be supported by the 1.0-96xx NVIDIA legacy graphics drivers.
