Weird Beryl / GL Quirk with Nvidia Drivers

Just something I've noticed recently with my Beryl testing on PC-BSD 1.4: Whenever you have Beryl running, any other started OpenGL apps tend to hang, or run at slow rates, like 1 frame every few seconds. Disable Beryl and the app runs fine again.

I think this is specific to the nvidia driver, since on my Intel chipset laptop, I can run beryl + glxgears or other OpenGL apps and they run normally.

Is this something that can or will be fixed in future driver releases?

Whoops, sorry I missed that thread, glad to hear you guys are looking into a fix though. Any timetable on when it may be out?

I can't give you an ETA, but we hope to relase a new driver in the next few weeks.
